Robert Dietrich

Robert "Bob" Dietrich, age 89, of Roselle Park, New Jersey passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at Overlook Hospital in Summit, NJ. He was born December 1, 1934 to the late John and Louise (Neth) Dietrich in Elizabeth, NJ. Bob grew up in Union, NJ. After graduating Union High School, he enlisted in the US Marine Corp at the age of 17 years and had been promoted to Corporal while serving in Korea. Bob retired from Newark Beth Israel Hospital after working many years as the Chief X-ray Engineer.

Bob is survived by his wife, Regina (Giesler) Dietrich; his daughters Sharon Roman (Mike) and Debbie Dietrich; his granddaughters Melissa Kiamie (Mathew), Jessica Roman and Ashley Roman; and his great grandson Jason Kiamie. Bob is also survived by several brother in laws, sister in laws and many dear nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Bob was predeceased by his brothers John Dietrich and George Dietrich, and his sister Mary Lou Graybush.

A visitation for Robert will be held Tuesday, April 2, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home, 2124 East Saint George Ave, Linden, NJ 07036. Following the visitation will be a funeral at St. Gertrude Cemetery, Inman Ave, Colonia, NJ 0706. A graveside prayer service will take place, followed by the playing of Taps and the ceremonial folding of the American flag by the Marine Corp Honor Guard.
