Robert L Vinson

Robert L Vinson, born on July 20, 1940, passed away on October 13, 2025, at the age of 85. He was a resident of Linden, New Jersey.Robert Vinson was born in Wilmington, Delaware, on July 20, 1940. He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Bertha Vinson, as well as his brother, John, and his sister, Mary. He served in the US Navy from 1958 to 1961. Following his military service, he began working for the United States Postal Service, from which he retired in 1997. Robert attended the Wilmington, Delaware public school system, graduating from high school in June 1958. He later married the love of his life, Janis Vinson, on January 2, 1971. They had two children, Mark and Baron, from his first marriage, and two additional children, Robin and Michael. In his leisure time, Robert enjoyed traveling and playing golf.

He is survived by his daughter, Robin Barrett, and his sons, Baron Vinson, Mark Vinson, and Michael Vinson. He was a devoted grandfather and great-grandfather to Taylor, Jalen, and Thea Barrett; Samya, Jarod, Elijah, Mia Rivera, and Jaron Vinson; as well as Indira Vinson, Tiffany, Brittany, and Zaria Hatchett.

A visitation for Robert L Vinson will be held at Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home, located at 2124 East Saint George Ave, Linden, NJ, 07036, United States. The visitation is scheduled for October 22, 2025, from 10 am to 12 pm.

Following the visitation, a prayer service will be conducted at the same venue from 12 pm to 1 pm.

A committal service will take place at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens, located on U.S. Route 1 North, Woodbridge Township, NJ, 08830, United States. This service is scheduled for October 22, 2025, 1:30 pm.
