Ronald E Sheedy

Ronald E. Sheedy, 72, of Elizabeth, New Jersey, passed away on Friday, December 6, 2019 at St. Barnabas Medical Center. Ronald was born on January 7, 1947 in Elizabeth New Jersey to the late James A. Sheedy and Dorothy Specht.

Ronald was an avid enthusiast of high school basketball, auto racing, New York Yankees baseball and Notre Dame football.

He was employed as a groundskeeper for the Elizabeth Board of Education for 16 years before retiring

2009 . Ron also worked for the American Flange Co. in Linden for 25 years in the manufacturing department. Ronald was a devoted husband, father, grandfather , brother and loyal friend he will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Ronald is preceded by 3 brothers;, James, Edward and Raymond Sheedy and his sister Doris Vilet.

He survived by his beloved wife Angela ( Silvio) of 51 years of marriage, 2 sons; Ronald D. Sheedy and wife Kimberly, Benjamin J. Sheedy and wife Dawn, a brother; David Sheedy and wife Joan, a sister Maureen and husband James Blackford, 4 loving grandchildren; Ryan, Jenna, Cortney, Bradley.

A visitation for Ronald will be held on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home, 2124 East Saint George Ave. Linden NJ . Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Wednesday at 9:00 at the funeral home. Follow by a funeral mass on December 11, 2019 at Saint Johns the Apostle Church at 10:00 AM located at 1805 Penbrook Terrace Linden NJ Interment to follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery Woodbridge.
