Saint Roc Dorvil was born on Wednesday, February 6, 1957, in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, to his loving parents, Martial Dorvil and Amide Adelson. He attended school in Haiti before moving to the United States, where he continued his education and later became a successful owner and operator.
From a young age, Saint Roc was deeply rooted in his faith and was an active member of his church community. Music was one of his greatest passions. He spent countless hours playing the guitar and piano. His music brought comfort, joy, and peace to all who had the blessing of hearing him play.
Saint Roc also had a lifelong passion for cars. A true enthusiast, he found happiness in collecting vehicles and sharing that joy with his family. He cherished taking his loved ones on drives, enjoying the open road, with the wind in their hair and the sun on their faces, feeling carefree and alive.
Above all, Saint Roc was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He was first married to Marie Toussaint, with whom he shared three children: Lumene (stepdaughter), Rockly, and Christopher. He later welcomed another son, Corddell, with Cherryl Faulk. He treasured time spent with his children, sharing stories, laughter, music, and wisdom. He is predeceased by his wife, Irene.
His grandchildren, Cherish, Chrissy, Chorii, Corddell Jr., and Corde — were the light of his life. He spoke of them with immense pride and joy, celebrating their accomplishments and encouraging their dreams. His love for them was deep and unwavering, and his legacy will live on through each of them.
After a life filled with faith, music, laughter, and love, Saint Roc passed away on February 15, 2026. He leaves behind a legacy defined by strength, devotion, and an enduring love for family.
In addition to his children and grandchildren, he leaves behind his partner Natasha and his siblings - Sevère Dorvil, Sermite Dorvil, Moise Dorvil, Marie Dorvil Leonard (Serge Leonard), Jeannot Dorvil, and Fanfan Dorvil.
