Silvio Salermo

Mr. Salermo was a devoted Christian man and an active member of El Redentor Christian Church.

He was an owner of Salermo Jewelers in Elizabeth since 1974, security guard for the Elizabeth public schools for 10 years. Silvio shared his knowledge and guidance in the furniture industry with his children for 18 years serving and connecting with the community.

Mr. Salermo was the beloved husband of the late Miriam Cobiellas (2014). Devoted father of Silvio Salermo, Jr. and his wife Mercedes, Manuel Salermo and his wife Lourdes, which was more of a daughter to him, Carmen Pereaza Salermo and her husband Jose, and the late Rosa Salermo. Cherished grandfather of Delio Rendón, Luis Rendón,

Roberto Rendón, Miriam Salermo, David Salermo, Karen Salermo, Kevin Salermo, Jane Salermo, Daniel Salermo, Matthew Salermo, Julius Salermo, Enoc Nunez, Rosangelica Nunez and the late Silvio Salermo III. Great grandfather of Bianca Mesa, Yazmeen Salermo, Mia Salermo, Joshua Salermo, Leah Salermo, Rachel Salermo, Jeremiah Salermo, Kevin Salermo, Jr., Isabella Salermo, Javier Rendon, Aria Rendon and Julius Rendon.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a funeral on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, 9:00 am until time of funeral service at 11:00 am at Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home, 2124 East Saint George Ave, Linden, NJ 07036. Interment will be at Rosedale Cemetery, Linden.
