Teresa Poradowski

Teresa (Nykiel) Poradowski of Linden NJ, passed on Sunday, November 24, 2024, she was a beloved wife for 51 years to the late Adam Poradowski, predeceased by her sister Maria (Nykiel) Joskowski, aunt of Andrew Joskowski, great-aunt of Benjamin and Eliana Joskowski, and many more nieces and nephews. With heavy hearts we say goodbye to Teresa Poradowski, a woman with a spirited nature who left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Her straightforwardness was matched by moments of deep care and quiet generosity. Aunt Teresa approached life with a strength and determination that we all admired.

She found joy in dining out with her friends and she cherished the times she went out dancing with her beloved husband. She had a deep appreciation for the finer things in life. She enjoyed traveling and found happiness in the company of her snow dogs, who held a special place in her heart.

She leaves behind a family that loved her dearly and will remember her as a one-of-a-kind presence – bold, witty and unapologetically herself. Aunt Teresa thank you for being authentically you, rest in peace knowing you are deeply missed.

A visitation for Teresa will be held Tuesday, December 3, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at KROWICKI MCCRACKEN FUNERAL HOME, 2124 East Saint George Ave, Linden, NJ 07036. A funeral mass will take place Wednesday, December 4, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Hedwig Roman Catholic Church, 600 Myrtle St, Elizabeth, NJ 07202. A funeral will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery, 1000 E Edgar Rd, Linden, NJ 07036.
