

Waynne Olive (Muller) Barrett was born in Newark, New Jersey to the late William and Lorraine Muller on April 9, 1942. Waynne was the oldest of their seven daughters. She attended Arts High School in Newark and later went on to complete nursing school. She worked for over twenty years as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the field of Geriatrics. Waynne loved being outdoors, gardening, reading, country music, gospel music, and occasional trips to Atlantic City and Wildwood with her children and grandchildren.
She had a strong personality and was very creative. She loved frogs and had a collection of them around her home. She was also a lifelong NY Yankees fan and found joy in watching them win their games.
Waynne was predeceased by Fred A. Barrett and is survived by her children Tayelor T. Barrett, Waynne Aponte, Sonsorrae Barrett, Kecia Barrett-Callahan, Tonka Barrett-McBurrows, Kimberly Barrett, and Kiarke W. Barrett. Fifteen grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by six sisters, Pamella Schwierk, Ginger Perragallo, Debby Lewandowski, Gail Villanova, Helen Yannuzelli, Christine Pici, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
A visitation for Waynne will be held Wednesday, September 8, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home, 2124 East Saint George Ave, Linden, NJ 07036.
