Zoraida Pena

Zoraida Pena, age 82, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday March 5, 2026 in Green Brook, New Jersey. She was born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico to her loving mother Matilde Rosa, who predeceased her.

Zoraida loved to dance, spend time reading, and took great pride in cooking for her family and loved ones. Her warmth & kindness brought happiness to those around her.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband Salomon Pena and son Edgar Ferrer.

Zoraida is survived by her loving children Aida (Arnulfo Rodriguez), Gloria Ferrer, Miguel Angel Ferrer Jr., Rosalinda Ferrer, & Leandro Planell. She also leaves behind cherished grandchildren and great- grandchildren including Jesenia, Danny, Kristine & their children Brianna, Alexa, Jaida, DJ & Christian. Linda, Alex & their children Alex, Destiny, Kelvin, Tatiana, & Alan. Macho, Gaby & their children, Kylie & Heriberto Daniel. Zory & her children Katelyn & Jonathan. Xiomara, Edgar (Eggie), Richard & his children RJ & Mia. Goldi & her children Alexander (Boo) & Alana. Nikki, Andy, Alessandra, Julian & Rayan, along with many family members & dear friends who will forever hold her memory in their hearts.

Zoraida's love for her family and the joy she brought into every room will never be forgotten. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, but her spirit , laughter and the memories she created will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

Visitation will be held at KROWICKI MCCRACKEN FUNERAL HOME, 2124 East Saint George Ave, Linden, NJ 07036, US, on March 10, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
