Bertrand Louis Barrett Jr.

Lisbon Falls – Bertrand L. Barrett, Jr., 70, resident of Wing St., former longtime resident of Wales, ME died Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at his residence. He was born June 23, 1940 in Augusta, ME a son of Bertrand Louis and Juliette (Lacombe) Barrett. He was educated in Farmington and graduated from Farmington High School with the Class of 1958. As a young man Bertrand had worked for his parents at their grocery stores before they were purchased by Shaw’s Supermarkets. Together with his wife Jacqueline they owned and operated the TV Focus Magazine in Lewiston for several years until his retirement.

Bertrand enjoyed spending free time hunting.

Survivors include his son, Bertrand Louis Barrett, III of Turner, two daughters, Theresa Kim Barrett of San Antonio, TX, Wendy Marie Barrett of Boston, MA, a brother Lawrence Barrett of North Carolina, one grandson, Joshua Louis Barrett and his former wife of 30 years, Jacqueline Barrett of Wales, ME and Florida.

A memorial service will be held at 3PM on Tuesday, September 7, 2010 in the chapel at Gracelawn Memorial Park, 980 Turner Street, Auburn, ME.
