Christine M. Greer

Lewiston - Christine M. Greer, 42, of Lisbon Falls, passed away on Saturday October 26, 2013 at Central Maine Medical Center. She was born on October 18, 1971, in Lowell Massachusetts, a daughter of Joseph and Sheila (Smith) Re. She lived in various parts of Massachusetts and Maine, moving to Lisbon Falls four years ago from Saco due to the disabilitating illness of MS. She was a former member of the Fryeburg Rescue and the Fryeburg Academy Band. She was a big hockey fan and an avid supporter of the Portland Pirates and The Boston Red Sox. She enjoyed working on her computer and her precious time spent camping and at the ocean helped relieve the pain of her ongoing illness. The love of her life was her daughter Meaghen. She became a cheerleading coach and involved in the Girl Scouts so she could spend as much time as possible with her daughter. When her granddaughter Aubrey was born five months ago, she stated she was as happy as she could possibly be. Her daughter and granddaughter made her life complete. Christine is survived by her daughter Meaghen Tarvers and husband Nicholas of Westbrook, granddaughter, Aubrey Tarvers, her mother, Sheila Smith from Lovell, stepmother, Linda Re from Pepperell, Ma., siblings: Joseph Re , Richard Re and wife Karen, Kristen Lohnes, Scott Lohnes, Shawn Lohnes and Shannon Melanson. She was predeceased by her father, Joseph Re and Step father, William Smith. Visitation will be held at The Crosman Funeral Home in Lisbon Falls on Saturday from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Funeral Services will be celebrated on Saturday at 2:00 PM at the Funeral Home.
