As a friend of Rick Rioux and his family, I have had the pleasure of getting to know Doris and the extended Rioux clan at many gatherings at Rick's home.  May you all be blessed with many more years together filled with great memories, good times and joy of friends & family.

Nana you were my everything, you raised me when mom had to work long hours to support us. You always had the right advice on so many of life's questions. I was honored to call you Nana and I'm so glad that I got to spend as much time with you growing up and as an adult. You leave a big hole in my life but fill my heart with the love you gave me my whole life. I will miss you forever and look forward to seeing you again happy and healthy. A friend of Rick's may years ago I remember how important his family was to him and how supportive and loved he was. Sincere sympathies to the family of Dot Rioux.

As you have made your way to heaven, hope you know you were well loved by you family and friends...my thoughts and prayers go to all who knew and loved her especially her children, Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren who will miss her dearly. I never pictured what my life would be like without you in it- I guess I thought you were going to live forever. :( I will always treasure the memories we shared together and all the stories you told. Although it breaks my heart that you are not physically here with me, I know you are with me in spirit. I know that you are happy now where you are & reuniting with the family and friends that you have lost over the years- free of pain & suffering. Please enjoy and don't feel bad/sad for us. Somehow we'll find a way to live life without you...but it will never be the same. You sacrificed so much to make others happy & now it's your turn to be happy. Nothing in the world could ever replace one second of the time I was lucky enough to spend with you. I can never forget spending the night at your house every New Years Eve, playing games and watching The Wizard of Oz, spending every Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve with you, every Sunday, family game night...all the memories will stick with me forever. Now you are the most beautiful angel in heaven and the brightest star in the sky. Thank you for all your kindness and sweet words and also for making my life far more special than it ever could have been without you. Rest in peace, Nana.
