Ed was my employer, as a Selectman for nine years, and a very good one . He cared very much for the people he served and for the employees who worked for him. He was also my friend, as he was to many, and I will always miss his smiling face.

It is with great sorrow to learn of Ed's passing. He was one of our cribbage players and will always be remembered by his dry humor. When ever he had a excellent card play he would always pause a moment or two before laying the card down just to get a response from us other players. May God be with your family during this time.

With deepest sympathy,

Jim Burgess
