Eva was born on April 28, 1950 to Harriet (Decelle) Everett and Ernest Everett Jr. She grew up in Freeport and was the youngest of six. She graduated from Freeport High School in 1968.
Eva spent her career in retail and administrative work before retiring in 2001 from Bath Iron Works.
Eva was a lover of all animals and owned three dogs she often spoke fondly of; Lady, Krout and "Weezy". She also spent many hours feeding the squirrels, birds and chipmunks at her apartment building in Brunswick, loved online shopping and of course Coke Zero. However, her "world" was her Grandson Josh. She never missed any of his events until her illness prevented her from going and even at her worst, he brought out her best.
Eva is survived by her daughter, Heather Cronin of Lisbon, her grandson Josh Cronin of Lisbon, her brother Gary and his wife Pat of South Portland, her nieces and nephews; Clint, Michele, Karen, Bonnie, Elisa, Kim, Gary, and Theresa as well as her friend Donna Greggory of Westport Island, best friend Faye Condon of Brunswick and her friend Meta Levesque of Brunswick and "Little Archie".
She was preceded by her parents, her older brothers Norm, Allen, Clint and Les Everett and her husband, John A "Butch" Galgovitch.
Per Eva's request, a simple burial will take place on Friday, Aug 11th at 11am at Mt Calvary Cemetery in Lisbon Falls.
