Gertrude E Emery

Gertrude was born in Haverhill, January 24, 1932, daughter of Patrick and Martha (Lowes) Bennett. She was the twin sister of the late Albert Bennett of Plaistow, NH; they were two of the youngest of ten children. She was educated in the Haverhill Public Schools. Prior to her retirement, she had worked for Fifth Avenue Shoe Corporation in Haverhill.

She resided in the Lisbon Falls, ME area for the last 23 years; prior to that making Byfield, MA and Haverhill, MA her home. She raised her only child, Debra (Emery) Ingerson, whom she was predeceased by in 1992. She loved to take care of her many plants and her cat “Fluffy”; but what she enjoyed most of all was spending time with her family and friends.

Ms. Emery is survived by her five grandchildren, Kristin and her husband Kenny McNulty of Kingston, NH, Heidi Cain-Dash and her fiancé Michael Landry of Pelham, NH, DJ Ingerson of Canton, ME, Deanne and Kelly Sprague of Bath, ME; her three great-grandchildren, Kati McNulty, Kellen McNulty and Makayla Landry; her very best friend, Victoria Reil and her children, Jeremy and Justin Reil of Brunswick, ME; her nieces and nephews; and all her loving friends.

Emery, Gertrude E. 1/14/11. A graveside Memorial Service will take place in the Spring at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Lisbon Falls, ME. At her request, there are no visiting hours.
