Irma met her true love through a cousin of hers, Carroll Francis. He set up a blind date with his friend that he was stationed in Germany with, John Janosco, and the rest is history. Irma was a member of Holy Trinity Parish and volunteered for many years at The Greater Androscoggin Humane Society. She loved all animals, and though she couldn’t have any growing up, she always found pets that needed her help. She also loved music, played the clarinet and the piano, and also enjoyed listening to the 1950’s music and old country. Irma was a very devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and enjoyed taking trips with her family and spending all the time she could with them.
