She was born on July 8, 1951 in Bath, ME a daughter of the late Ray & Lois (McLean) Thomas. She grew up in Woolwich, ME attending local area schools and graduated from Morse High School in 1970.
Many years ago she worked at Shaw’s making flower arrangements which she loved to do. More recently and until she retired she worked as a medical receptionist in physical therapy and dental offices
Lynn was the most generous and thoughtful person you could meet. She was a good friend, an amazing mother and grandmother and everyone loved her smile. She smiled all the time, even through her illness.
She enjoyed socializing with friends and playing cribbage, cards and marbles. Her laptop was never far from her, so she could keep current with Facebook. Lynn enjoyed listening to country music and loved listening to her good friend’s band “The Maniacs” play both in Florida and on the wharf in Boothbay. She could also be found writing cards to all her friends for every holiday or occasion or even just to say hello; she enjoyed reminiscing by flipping through old high school yearbooks. She enjoyed her trips up north to go four wheeling and was a big football fan, especially, watching the New England Patriots But most of all she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, spending many days watching her grandsons play, whether it was football, lacrosse, baseball or basketball.
Lynn loved her time in Florida. She was most happy there welcoming people through the hospitality club, serving coffee and tea on Tuesdays, delivering hundreds of valentines cards and other events in the Betmar retirement community.
Besides her husband she is survived by her two children Jennifer L. Crocker of Lisbon Falls, ME and Jason M. Arbour and his wife Sasha of Sabattus, ME. She also leaves her four grandsons Jackson, Justin, Thomas and Lucas and 2 great grandsons Wade and Ace and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Terri (Thomas) Corey and Alan Thomas.
