The family is sad to announce the passing of “Maddy” – Madelyn Jean Bulick, 77 of Lisbon Falls, who passed away on January 28, 2025, at CMMC, in the loving presence of her son, Daniel, and granddaughter, Madison.
Madelyn was born in Lewiston, Maine, the daughter of Norman and Josephine (Longway) Bulick. She was educated in Lisbon Falls schools. On January 11th, 1964, Madelyn married her childhood sweetheart, Lawrence Wayne Bartlett, in Lisbon Falls. Together, they had two loving children, Nadine and Daniel.
Madelyn loved to travel and lived out West for several years before returning to Maine to care for her mother, Josephine. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her beloved best friend, her dog, Muffin. Madelyn was also devoted to her faith, finding great comfort and strength in her spirituality throughout her life.
She cherished family dinners and spending time with her loved ones. Her laughter and the memories we have of her in our hearts will live on forever.
Madelyn is survived by her daughter, Nadine Marie Gendron of Lisbon Falls; her son, Daniel Wayne Bulick of Lisbon Falls; grandsons Daniel Norman Lawrence Bulick of Lewiston, Gage Herbert Bulick of Providence, Rhode Island; granddaughter Madison Josephine Gendron of Lewiston; and great-grandchildren Ella, Bryson, Grayson, and Brynn. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Madelyn is predeceased by her parents, Norman and Josephine; sister, Barbara Brown; and her dog, Muffin.
Madelyn had a passion for gardening; she was often found planting flowers, dancing to music, and singing along. Her love of music, people, and nature will be the focus of the family’s Celebration of Life, which will be held in the late spring of this year. We hope all who knew her will attend to honor her memory.
