Nancy L. Ham- Lisbon Falls
Nancy passed away in her home on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 after a brief battle with Lymphoma cancer. Born May 25, 1938 the daughter of Florence and Arthur Reynolds. She spent her entire life in Lisbon Falls. When her sons were older she started working at Chuck’s Superette, Mark’s, Aubuchon and finally at the Lisbon High School cafeteria for 20+ years where she met and made lifelong friends, Brenda Confer and Judy Riordan. Nancy and Rufus’s home was always open to company who would be warmly greeted, offered snacks and given a bottom less cup of coffee. To many, their home was known as the “coffee shop.” There have been many special friends and family in their lives like John Crafts and all his family, Jean Harris and family, Pat Hammond, sister-in-law and lifelong friend Harriet Hawkins, neighbors Darryl and Sandy Orr, Dave and Bev Garneau and Ray and Phyllis Sterling, just to name a few. Nancy was predeceased by her parents, husband, Rufus, son, Glen, brother, Robert and step-daughter, Marcy (Patrick) Cox.

I am so sorry and sad to see that Nancy has passed on. I have only known her for a couple years, but found her to be a great woman who loved many people. Always had a pot of coffee and good snacks on her table. She loved company and her family. Rest easy Nancy you are so missed and so loved by all who new you.

All, I am so sorry to read about Nancy. As you know my mom and Nancy were great friends and spent allot of time together. Like so many others, I enjoyed stopping at the house to have coffee and chat with Nancy. When I was with Nancy, it was like mom was there with us, and I found great peace when I visited her. I will miss her very much. Thoughts and prayers for all you.

Dear Todd, Gary, and the Ham family.
You all know how special and welcoming your mom and dad were. We were always welcomed, open door and coffee around the table, many weekend evenings (Saturday night beans) and Sunday afternoons. Many happy memories were shared at camp as well.
They treated Erin like their own granddaughter, of which she still holds many fond memories. Charlene and I will be forever grateful for their love and generosity.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time.

To Todd, Arianna, Gary, Harriet and the Ham Family,
Nancy was the best landlady a person could ask for. From the first time I was invited into her kitchen, she made me feel right at home. Her home was a place where good old fashioned Maine values lived! Everyone was welcomed and loved. It was my privilege to be included in her Coffee Club.
She welcomed my granddaughter Chloe , and me, with open arms. We spent many wonderful moments at Miss Nancy’s house!
She was a beautiful treasure to us both and we will deeply miss her.

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Nancy. I worked with Rufus at CMP for many years and kept in touch until his passing. Nancy was such a wonderful person, and I enjoyed the conversations we had. They were both very special people.
