Patricia A. Kuhl

Patricia Anne (McHale) Kuhl passed away at the spry young age of 82 on November 6, 2025. Pat died surrounded by family and caregivers at the Dionne Commons Residence in Brunswick, Maine after a long battle with the effects of dementia. Pat was born on Friday February 19, 1943, in Abington Pa., to the late Thomas E. McHale and Patricia H. (Betz) McHale.

Pat was a graduate of Cardinal Dougherty High School in Philadelphia Pa., and Immaculata College in Immaculata Pa. Pat was always very proud of the fact that she returned to college later in life and graduated from college with high honors in her chosen field of accounting.

According to family myth Pat met the love of her life Raymond (Ray) F. Kuhl at the Pulaski Club in Philadelphia, Pa., in the fall of 1964. The events surrounding their actual meeting are a topic of some debate, but it seems to have worked out in the long run.

In the summer of 1985 Pat and family relocated lock, stock, and large white dog from Newtown Square Pa. to Brunswick Me., following new employment opportunities. During her time in Maine Pat was employed by Jensen Baird Gardner & Henry, Young’s Furniture, and Gowen Marine and Power Systems, before finally hanging her own shingle under the banner of PK Associates where she employed her husband Ray as a loyal minion. In her spare time Pat could be found pursuing lifelong love of collecting increasingly esoteric cookbooks, reading salacious murder mysteries, and looking for new foods to cover with ketchup and/or Balsamic glaze.

Pat was predeceased by her husband Raymond Kuhl. Pat is survived by her sister Jeanne McHale Waite (David) of Doylestown Pa., her son William Kuhl (Hillary) of Lisbon Falls Me., and her son David Kuhl (Caroline) of Illinois, her grandchildren Erin, Liam, and Sophia Kuhl, and various nieces, nephews, and grandnieces and grandnephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Visitation for Pat on Monday November 17, 2025, from 6:00PM-8:00PM at Crosman Funeral Home, 40 Main St., Lisbon Falls, ME. There will be a private Committal Service on Tuesday November 18, at the Riverview Cemetery in Topsham, ME.
