

Lewiston – Patricia A. Ramsay, 73, resident of Greene, ME died Saturday, October 23, 2010 at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston with her family by her side. She was born June 23, 1937 in Bridgton, ME a daughter of Merle R. and Vivian H. (Gordon) Reynolds. She was educated in Bridgton and graduated from Bridgton High School with the Class of 1955. She also attended the Burdette School of Business in Boston, MA graduating in 1956. On June 16, 1957 she married Clayton W. Ramsay, Jr. and together raised their family. Patricia worked for many years at Down East Energy as an office clerk and had owned and operated the Center Market in Lisbon Center for many years. She was a member of the Lisbon School Board and was a registrar for the Town of Lisbon. She was a longtime member of the Lisbon United Methodist Church and was also a member of the Eastern Star Chapter #11 of Lisbon Falls. Patricia was an avid reader and enjoyed spending free time with a book she also enjoyed her “Soap Operas” and watching the Game Show Network. She was predeceased by her husband who died in 2005, a daughter Carol A. Ramsay who died in 1965, a granddaughter Emily Ann Carlisle and a great granddaughter, Kayedance Koenig. Survivors include three sons, Scott C. and his wife Susan Ramsay of Lisbon Falls, Mark D. and his wife Laurie Ramsay of Turner, Jonathan M. and his wife Norma Ramsay of Greene, a daughter Denise E. and her husband James Carlisle of Bowdoin, two sisters, Arlene E. and her husband Kenneth Walker of Bridgton, ME, Marilynn I. and her husband Barry Hill of Bridgton, 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be held from 6-8 PM on Thursday, October 28, 2010 at Crosman Funeral Home, 40 Main Street, Lisbon Falls, ME. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, October, 29, 2010 at the Lisbon United Methodist Church, School Street, Lisbon Falls. Interment will follow in Lunt Cemetery, Brunswick.
