With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Paul William Aldrich, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Paul departed this world leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and generosity that will forever be cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing him.
Paul is survived by his beloved wife, Kathleen Aldrich; his sister, Shelley Belknap; his daughter, Sybil Chapman, and her husband, Corey; his sons, Seth Aldrich and his wife, Jenna, and Isaac Aldrich and his wife, Meghan. He was a proud and devoted grandfather to his five grandsons—Mason, Eli, Silas, Beck, and Evan—who brought him immeasurable joy. He was predeceased by his loving parents, William and Sylvia Aldrich.
A man of many passions, Paul found deep fulfillment in the simple joys of life. His love for basketball was infectious, and he passed it on to his children through countless games of "PIG" in the driveway, where laughter and competition created lifelong memories. He was an avid supporter of the New England Patriots and the Boston Celtics, always eager to celebrate victories and analyze plays with enthusiasm. His appreciation for music enriched his days, and his love for technology kept him curious and engaged with the ever-changing world.
Beyond his hobbies, Paul was defined by his generosity and kindness. He was a charitable soul who believed in helping others whenever he could, whether by offering his time or lending a hand to those in need. His heart was as big as his sense of humor—always ready with a joke to bring a smile to the faces of family and friends. Paul embodied the spirit of an American patriot, cherishing his country and instilling in his children the values of hard work, resilience, and integrity.
A devoted family man, dedicated worker, compassionate friend, and lover of dogs, Paul Aldrich will be remembered for his unwavering character and the joy he brought to the lives of those around him. His presence will be deeply missed, but his laughter, love, and lessons will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Rest in peace, Paul. Your legacy will never fade.
