

Lewiston- Rena Ann Mynahan, 84, our loving, courageous Mother passed away peacefully at Montello Manor on Saturday October 8th, with her six children by her side. Born on May 25, 1938, Rena is the daughter of Osias and Jeannette (Verreault) Beauregard. Working at home as bookkeeper for the family business for many years allowed her to raise her six children before working at the deli/bakery at Hannaford’s in Lewiston, retiring after 25 years. Raised and educated in catholic schools in Lewiston and Trenton, N.J, she was an active member of Holy Trinity Parish serving as Eucharistic Minister for many years and was an active member of LACO.
Mom loved her children, husband and the entire extended Mynahan and Beauregard families, especially her brother Richard and sister Adela. Mom gave her love deeply and her laugh was contagious. She enjoyed doing home makeovers, gardening and playing scrabble on the deck with her three dogs Daisy, Dolly, and Pele by her side and dining out.
Rena is survived by her children Linda (Michael) Greenstein, Brunswick, Me., Mary Mynahan-Curry (William), Lisbon, Me., Gary (Lisa) Mynahan of Gray, Me., Kathleen (Craig) Oliver-Gorris, Cumberland, Me., John (Angela) Mynahan, Jr., Lisbon, Me., Christopher (Brandi) Mynahan, Lewiston, Me. Her Brother, Richard (Pauline) Beauregard of Highland, California. 11 Grandchildren, 5 Step Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren and many, many nieces and nephews she loved each dearly.
Rena is predeceased by her husband, John L. Mynahan, Sr., her parents Osias and Jeannette (Verreault) Beauregard, and her sister Adela Freve. Nephews, Timothy Mynahan, Joseph Mynahan, and Scott Sullivan.
A visitation will be held from 4-8PM at Crosman Funeral Home, 40 Main St. Lisbon Falls, ME on Friday the 14th, the following day a mass of Christian burial will be held at Holy Trinity Church, 67 Frost Hill, Lisbon Falls, ME at 11AM and a burial to follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
