Robert Albert Marquis

He was born the son of Albert and Roseanna Marquis. Robert attended Lisbon High School. Following high school he went to work for Knapp Shoe.

Robert enjoyed watching sports and attended many Greyhound football games. He was a big runner and ran many marathons through the years. Robert could be seen running in surrounding towns. He was still walking 3 - 5 miles a day.

He loved going out to eat and playing the lottery. He enjoyed spending time with his family and will be remembered for his quick wit and being called the Mayor of Lisbon.

Surviving are her sister and husband John Baumer, nephews Steve and his wife Debora Marquis, Andre and his wife Danielle Marquis, nieces, Karen and husband Peter Gagne, Dona Hayes and husband Ron Hayes, Chantel and husband Craig Dube, many great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, grandparents Fred and Sadie Arquette and Pierre and Lizzie Anne Soucy, brother Roland Marquis and nephew Beau Beaulieu.
