Sandra Jeanne Goody

Sandra Jeanne Goody, a beloved and kind-hearted individual, passed away on October 26, 2025, at the age of 81. Sandra was a resident of Lisbon, Maine, and was known for her humorous and resilient nature.

Born on April 20, 1944, Sandra attended Lisbon Schools and graduated from Lisbon High School in 1962. She cherished the memories of riding in the rumble seat of her father's car with her sisters.

Sandra began her working career at IGA and Graziano's Restaurant. She later worked for Dr. Mendes and dedicated over 30 years as a caseworker at Seniors Plus. Her career was marked by her faithful service and dedication.

In 1969, Sandra was blessed with a son, Carlton Goody, who was a significant part of her life. She also treasured her time spent with her best friend, Sharon Hanson, especially enjoying her last apartment living on the same floor as Sharon.

Sandra loved to read and spent her summers at the ocean with her sisters and her longtime friend Babs. She enjoyed puzzles and coloring, activities that brought her joy and relaxation.

Sandra is survived by her son Carlton Goody and wife Maureen Heath, her siblings Charlotte Farnum and her significant other Ralph Bard, Evelyn Bodemer and husband Dick, Jerome Carrier and wife Senia and Peter Carrier. Sandra also leaves behind her grandchildren Cory, Justin and Megan Ramm of Prescott, Arizona, as well as several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Sandra was predeceased by her children Christopher Goody and Kelli Ramm and her parents Carlton and Lucille.

The family extends a special thank you to the Lamp Memory Care Center in Lisbon for the incredible care they provided to Sandra.

In her own words, Sandra would often say, "This is a sad state of affairs," reflecting her spitfire spirit and candid view of life.

Sandra Jeanne Goody will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Liturgy of the Word for Sandra on Wednesday, November 12th, 2025 at 1PM at Mt. Calvary Cemetery 146 Main St, Lisbon Falls, ME 04252.
