To the Bauer family we send all our love, prayers, and heart felt condolences.
All I can think of is what a blessing it is that Don and Agnes picked the small town of Bensenville, more specifically Lincoln Street, to move into. What an incredible chance of fate.
I can remember looking out the window, seeing your family, two boys and their cute older sister. In no time we were throwing the ball around and quickly became the best of friends.
I'm sure you already know but I have to say how your dad Don influenced us, John George and myself as well the girls, with his smile and love and kindness for our family and to all his other neighbors. He was always helping others. And then there's his love for the Chicago Black Hawks.
I'd always see him around the area and we'd talk and laugh, what a genuine loving and god fearing man. I thought about him after the hawks won the championship; I think he had something to do with that.  
And now mom, right off I think of her chocolate chip cookies, wow they were the best!
And I can say you need not worry, she's with her husband of some 57 years and with our lord and savior Jesus Christ. She was always a fixture in church. When I'd stop over she'd always say to me ‘dick you staying out of trouble' then I'd lie and say ‘yes ok'. She'd say don't you guys get in trouble, and then we'd go egg cop cars.
I'm forever grateful to have as I see it an extended family in yours, thank you Don and Agnes for all your years of love toward the Guzman family. I'll make a promise as I pray for my dad and Julie they also will be included. All our love, Dickie, Tammy, Jon and Megan

I am so lucky to have so many memories of Nana and Papa, from our many playdates at Burger King, seeing them at my volleyball games, and walking with them in mornings around their lake after a sleepover. Thankful for such wonderful role models to show me what compassion, love, and generosity really mean.

I was Agnes' caregiver for the last three years. We quickly became best friends, we laughed,shared confidences. She taught me so much. At the end of each day I would give her a hug and kiss and say I'll see you tomorrow, she would always say if it's the good Lords willing, I would say if I don't see you here I will see you in Heaven.  Our tomorrows are gone, but Agnes I will see you in Heaven. Until then I will miss you.

We're so sorry for your loss.  We have great memories of your mom dating back to her (and your dad) being a couple of our most loyal fans, coming to cheer on our girls volleyball team at St. Matthew.  We will miss seeing her smiling face:)

Mom was such a loving and compassionate person; I learned a lot from her and memories of her will help me continue to grow!

I'll miss hearing Aunt Agnes say "oh, hi Scotty!".....and of course with a smile. Our home away from home was always Aunt Agnes and Uncle Don's place .....God has blessed them.

Our lives are all richer because of Mom's loving influence on us.

She was my inspiration every day.  She always had a smile for me.  She always use to say, "We'll just see what cooks tomorrow", so I always knew there would be a tomorrow.  Now she is with my Dad, watching over her family.  I will miss her so much.
