She was born in Celina, Ohio on January 29, 1924, to Nick and Sophie Panos. She is preceded in death by brother Alex Panos who passed away in March 2020 in Las Vegas Nevada.
She is survived by her only remaining brother Peter Panos, his daughter Sophia King, his son-in-law Mark King, and his grandson Alexander King, as well as her niece and God-daughter Lynda Kosar (nee Youroukos) her husband Joseph Kosar and their children Melissa and Anthony Kosar, her nephew Jimmy Youroukos, his wife Debbie, and their 5 grown children.
Toni was a loving sister and Aunt to many grand and great grand nieces and nephews. She loved her family dearly and was involved in their lives as she never married herself. She lived a full life of travel and belonged to many organizations mainly the Daughters of Penelope of the worldwide organization of AHEPA. She was president of the Daughters of Penelope at different times. Antionette was a devoted Greek Orthodox Christian who attended Assumption Greek Orthodox Church in Chicago Illinois since the 1940’s.
She was also an integral part of the founding and building of the Greek American Rehabilitation and Care Center in Wheeling Illinois which she resided for several years before her death.
She will be missed.
