Bonnie will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 54 years, Walter, and her children, Eric (Monique) Sattler and Lauren (Kent) Moser. Bonnie will also be fondly remembered by her four grandchildren, Jack and Max Sattler and Drew and Rachel Moser, and by her sister, Darlene Garay. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lyle and Louise Kaiser.
Born in Schenectady NY, her family later moved to Markham, IL and then Lombard, IL; where she graduated from Glenbard West High School. Bonnie earned a Bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois. She worked as a bookkeeper for many years.
Bonnie met Walter at the University of Illinois at Navy Pier, dated, and got married on January 18, 1964.
A lifetime lover of the arts, she was an avid collector of works of art and antiques. She was also an antique dealer and often attended shows at the Sandwich Illinois antique market. Bonnie read voraciously and her hobbies also included planting flowers, gardening and collecting butterflies. She also loved travelling and went to Central and South America, Africa, Europe and throughout the United States with family and friends.
She was a force of love, stability and common sense to her family and friends for her entire life and she will be missed dearly by all.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 28 from 1pm to 5pm, at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home located at 5015 Lincoln Ave., Lisle, IL 60532.
