Carol Gitter, nee Christl, passed away on May 16, 2026, at the age of 83. Beloved Wife of George for a loving 64 years. Devoted Mother of Daniel (Tiffany) and Mother-in-Law of Margaret, the mother of her grandchildren. Proud Grandmother of Emily, Megan, and Mary Ellen, and Great-Grandmother of Parker, Samantha, Max, and Chase. Loving Daughter of the late Clyde and Julia. Fond Sister of James Christl. Dear Aunt and Cousin of many.
For those who knew Carol there are no words to adequately describe her. Everyone she touched felt her warmth and sincerity.
She was a special person to the many contacts she made during her 32 years at McDonald’s Corporation.
The time she spent with us was a true gift.
She will be missed by many but will never be forgotten.
