Carolyn M. Shroyer-Reynolds

Carolyn M. Shroyer-Reynolds, age 66, of Lisle, Illinois passed away on Wednesday, April 9, 2025. She was born in Evergreen Park, IL to her loving parents, Ron and Gerry Kuban. She was a graduate of Queen of Peace High School.

Carolyn had a true passion for watching the Chicago Bears, rarely missing a game and cheered them on with unwavering loyalty, win or lose. Beyond sports, Carolyn, dedicated to genealogy research, spent hours tracing family roots and uncovering stories from the past. She loved to connect the different generations and preserve family history for future generations.

She will be most remembered for the deep love she had for her family, always putting them first, and showing her care through countless home-cooked meals. Her cooking had a way of bringing everyone together. She will also be remembered for her no-nonsense approach to communication. She always spoke her mind with honesty, humor, and heart.

She is survived by her husband Brad Reynolds; children, Raymond (Alyssa), William, Elizabeth (Nick), Kimberly (Scott), Bradley (Ellie), Jessica (Josh); mother, Gerry; grandson, Joseph; sisters, Renee (Bob) and Michelle (Bob); and many loving nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her beloved first husband, Joseph Shroyer and her father, Ron Kuban, both of whom held a special place in her heart.

Though Carolyn is no longer with us her spirit and love will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
