Charles L. “Chuck” McDonough, age 83, beloved husband for 50 years of Ethel, nee Fitzgerald; devoted father of Matthew (Carmen), Marycarol (Michael) Park, Randy (Teresa), and Marla (Jeff) DuCharme; loving grandfather of Ty Charles DuCharme; dear brother of George F. (late Louise) McDonough; fond uncle and great uncle of many. Veteran of US Air Force. 1952 Graduate in Electrical Engineering from University of Illinois. Chuck was employed for his entire successful career at Commonwealth Edison. Longtime member of the Knights of Columbus. Chuck found satisfaction volunteering for many worthy causes, especially St. Vincent de Paul Society. He was also an avid golfer. Memorial Visitation Monday, January 21, 2013 from 10:00 am until time of Memorial Mass 11:00 am at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 1450 Green Trails Dr.,(corner of Naper Blvd) Naperville, IL In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
