Dolores Rieber, age 83, passed away on December 26, 2025. Beloved daughter of the late Thomas E. Kandl & Mamie G. Kandl. Dolores was an alum of Nazareth Academy ’60 and St. Xavier University ’64. She devoted her life to her children George Rieber, Jr., Daniel Rieber, and Thomas E. Rieber as well as grandsons, Noah Rieber and Liam Rieber. She was a Cub Scout Pack 512 Den Leader and Girl Scout Leader. Dolores was a two-year president of St. Scholastica’s CCW and named CCW “Woman of the Year”. She was a Morton Arboretum Potential Partner, team captain, and planning committee member for Wilton Industries annual Heart Walk. Dolores enjoyed gardening and her rose garden.
Family and friends will gather for a memorial mass at St. Scholastica Church on February 13 at 10 am. Mass will be followed by interment at Holy Family Cemetery and Mausoleum, 2500 W Hobson Rd. Woodridge, IL. Donations to the Morton Arboretum or the American Diabetes Association appreciated.
