Dom was our friend whom we met through the Morton Arboretum. We loved going there on the West Side when the weather was good and celebrated birthdays for each person in the group. We held picnic's and walked through the "wild flower" and "fragrant" gardens often. Dom loved the foods and the friends we all shared together. We will miss him and think of him every time we go to the Arboretum. GOD SPEED and take are of him Mom, Peggy.

Spent many late afternoons at The Morton Arboretum with Dom and Peg on their favorite bench feeding the birds and looking for our favorite squirrel, the one with the stubby tail. So sad, but so glad for the times we shared.

I've known Dominic his whole life. When he was born he brought much joy to my Aunt Antoinette and Uncle Merrill. Whenever we would see him we really enjoyed his company and he was so happy to see us because we were his cousins. My heart goes out to you, Peggy, as Dominic was your constant companion. He loved you so much and you were a wonderful mother to him. May he rest in peace.

I would see Dominic almost every day walking to the Fire Dept.He always looked so excited to get there and would stop into the hardware store to get a cola. He was always so cheetful and happy. I was the manager at the hardware store on Main st and I am so sorry for your loss.He was a great joy in making my day when he would stop in. God bless him and his family.

Dom was always smiling and so friendly. He was like an adopted son to many of us at the Fire Station, we were always glad to see him and he was glad and happy to be there. Dom Loved his Mother and was very proud of her! It is an honor to have been his friend, GOD BLESS HIM, may family be comforted by the knowledge that he is in our Savior's Care. As he called me... I have been retired for several years from the Lisle-Woodridge Fire Protection District. I have many fond memories of "Dom" in our stations. His smile was always present and he really enjoyed being apart of team. There are many things I miss about being a firefighter and being around a great group of fellow workers. I will always remember Dominick as well as all other members of our firefighter family.
