I loved, loved, loved to see your mom's name on my phone display when she'd call me on behalf of a NSC customer. Over the past several years that I worked with her, we got to be great  phone buddies, and I got to hear all about her grandchildren and "greats". When I visited Itasca for training a couple times, we got together for lunch and dinner. It was great fun to finally meet her in person. I will miss speaking with her - she was always, always upbeat and encouraging. My best to your family. Karol Haynes (DMC).

I remember your mom from high school.  She always was a happy, perky person and could always make me laugh.  So sorry to hear of your loss.

My condolences on your great loss. When I think of Dorothy I think of her family, her kindness, her readiness to help those in need and her humor. Those of use whose lives she touched, even for a moment, were forever enriched.

To Donna and Family,  I had the privilege of working with your Mom/Grandma over the phone for 12-1/2 years.  She was one of the nicest ladies I have had association with in my life.  One thing I know for sure is she LOVED her family because she spoke of you all often and how you were the joy her life.  My heart is grieving right along with you and I will miss her.

Donna, I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your mother. I never met  Dorothy, however I did have the pleasure of speaking with her occasionally when I would call customer service. She was always so pleasant and helpful. My prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time.

Dorothy was one in a million and will be greatly missed. Hearing her laugh never failed to brighten my day. My heartfelt sympathies to you, Donna, and your family.

Dorothy's joy would radiate over the phone. She was always so helpful and willing to make sure you had your problem solved. I will miss her. My prayers for her family and her NSC family.

I never had the privilege of meeting Dorothy but I did work with her on several occasions over the phone.  She was relentless in finding the answers to questions and always went above and beyond to be helpful.  She will be missed.

The National Safety Council will not be the same without Dorothy.  She was always cheerful and willing to go the extra mile to be of assistance.  Many Chapter staff members have asked me to extend their deepest sympathy to your entire family.  She will be missed terribly.

Donna, I am so sorry to hear about your Mom. Although I never met her I did know her through customer service at NSC and the Syracuse office.  She was always so kind and helpful.  I will pray for you and your family that God gives  you courage and strength.

Your mom was a wonderful person- I have some great memories from working with her at NSC - your family is in my prayers at this difficult time.

I am so sorry to hear of Dorothy's passing. She was a shining star. The one we all turned to for crafty or fun ideas from anything to clothing to costumes to party ideas. She was a joy to work with. God bless her..my deepest condolences to her family.

I and Dorothy were very good friends going out to lunch, and working in Customer Service for over 5 years, and knowing her for over 15.

We would do a lot outside the office also, I will miss her so much, she was my strong arm when my Mother passed away last year.

I hope and pray you finally have your wish, and get to meet ELVIS!!

Our condolences to all of you. We are going to miss the patio conversations we would have with Dorothy. The boys will miss yelling up to her patio, asking for her to come out and say hi.

The best friend I have ever had. Loyal, strong, courageous. A fearless sense of justice, and the heart to back it with action, no matter the cost to herself. A deep capacity to love, and the willingness to share it freely with many. Generous to a fault, always willing to go out and have fun, and a terrific sense of humor. She inspired me to stretch beyond my own limits constantly, while kindly accepting my faults. She befriended me at a time when I needed a friend like her so badly that she was a gift from heaven. And most important of all, she had a powerful love of family, her greatest treasure. She left us too soon. I'm comforted knowing she is with her mother and father, who she spoke about often. And I hope with all my heart she's listening to Elvis, live. I love you, Dorothy. Thank you for being my friend.

Dorothy fell asleep here on earth, and woke up in Jesus arms. May God bless her family here on earth
