Dylan Robert Andrews

Dylan Robert Andrews, 13, passed away on June 13, 2026. Beloved Son of Steven and Christine. Dear Grandson of Ellen Andrews and the late Wayne Andrews, the late Brenda Carlson, and the late Mary and Robert Farnsworth. Loving Nephew of Bill and Gail Farnsworth, Debbie and Paul Daly, Steven and Laura Schmidt, Wayne Andrews, Abby Minong, Ronnie Andrews, and Michael and Michelle Prince. A treasured cousin to his wide circle of first and second cousins.

Dylan had countless dreams and aspirations for his future. Fascinated by electricity, meteorology, all types of sirens, inventing, and content creation. He could often be found exploring new ideas and pursuing the things that sparked his curiosity. Whether as an electrical engineer, storm chaser, or inventor, there was no doubt that Dylan was destined to leave his mark on the world. Beyond his many interests, he thrived during his involvement with Scout Troops 511 and 516 of Woodridge, where he had just achieved the rank of Second Class.

Dylan had a remarkable gift for making friends wherever he went. He brought joy to others through his kindness, generosity, and genuine desire to make people smile, never expecting anything in return. His caring nature did not go unnoticed. In recognition of his selflessness and positive impact on those around him, consistently going above and beyond, he was nominated by the staff of Jefferson Junior High in Woodridge for the Extra Miler Award presented by the Woodridge VFW.

Dylan will be remembered for his bright spirit, endless curiosity, and the kindness he shared so freely with everyone he met, including going out of his way to advocate for others.

A Visitation for Dylan will take place Thursday, June 18, 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with a chapel service at 7:00 PM, at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 5015 Lincoln Ave. Lisle, IL 60532. All other services will be private for Dylan's family.
