Edgardo Viray

Edgardo attended school at the University of East. He started his career with PLDT as a senior supervisor. He married Juliana Viray in 1965 in the Philippines. He was a devoted father to their four children; Vincent, Vivian, Vergel, and Victor.

He will be remembered as a loving, caring and giving soul. Edgardo enjoyed his time drinking and watching basketball with his grandkids. He was a father figure to all, and he was given the nickname, "Papa Boy." He was a spiritual man who was very family-oriented.

Edgardo is survived by his wife, Juliana; his children, Vincent (Espie), Vivian (Rodel), Vergel (Renia), and Victor (Melanie); grandchildren, Jan (Miguel), Brian (Chris), Ejay (Sam), Christine (Aaron), Patrick (Melissa), Claudine (Aljon), Kate, Corinne, JM, Justine, and Cassey; great-grandchildren, Jaden, AJ, and Zoey; and nieces, Joy, and Dominika. He is preceded in death by his parents; and his grandson, Justin.

A Prayer service will be held at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 5015 Lincoln Avenue, Lisle, Illinois at 4pm. Friends may greet the family from 2pm until time of service, and then again from 5-8pm. Interment will be held at Holy Family Cross Cemetery, Downers Grove, at 12pm.

Our family takes comfort in knowing that he is experiencing joy and peace, and that he is reunited with his beloved grandson, Justin, in God's Kingdom. He will always be our helping hand, a legend.
