Gabrielle Kidney

Gay was born in Chicago, August 29, 1931. A graduate of Mercy High School and DePaul University. She spent 25 years as a devoted 3rd grade teacher at St. Joan of Arc School in Lisle, IL. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Michael Kidney Jr.

She is survived by her loving children, Michael James (Jane) Kidney and Kathleen (John) Bode, cherished grandchildren Dana (James) Hall, Patrick (Lindsay) Bode, Dr. Colleen Kidney and Joe Peg, Alison (Andrew Pohlman) Kidney, Jon Bode and Isabelle Mages, and Becca (Kyle) Penning, and her cherished great-grandchildren Aiden Kidney, Willow Pohlman, Keller and Grady Hall, Baila and Asher Penning, Ella and Sophie Bode.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 16, 2022 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 5015 Lincoln Ave, Lisle. Funeral mass to follow at 11:00 a.m. at St Joan of Arc Church, 820 Division St, Lisle. Interment private.
