Tina, I remember when you first told Bob and me about George when you first met.  I also remember later that day Bob said to me...she's going to marry that man.  Now take comfort in knowing that you have a special guardian angel to watch over you...and the Cubs.

My Uncle George, when I think of him the first things I think of are: #1 he was one of the 3 men who were, The Notey Knights; #2 he was the number one Cub fan of all time; #3 he was the most loving, faithfilled, caring and steadfast man you will ever know. My Uncle George remembered everyone and was always ready to help in any way needed. He loved from the very depths of his soul.

I am saddened that I cannot attend his Celebration of Life with the rest of the family but I am most definitely there in spirit and faith. I have no doubt that the heavens are once again hearing the beautiful sounds of Frank, Ed and George "The Notey Knights" singing "No Moon at All" and "The Evening Breeze".

The Cubbies finally have someone "up there" to help them along. And we all have one more heavenly helper to watch over us.

I loved you Uncle George and always will. Aunt Tina, God bless you for making him a very happy man. Our love is with you.

 When I saw the obit for Mr.Skepnick the other day,that name hit me hard, I thought of Georges first name and I new that are paths had crossed in the past,than Today when I saw his picture I new for sure who it was. Manny years ago I met George at my old school district  selling his ware.
 In our lifes we are blessed to meat really niece pepole and George goes on my list of one of the best.

I am so sorry that I can not attend the services for Uncle George. He will always be in my heart and I will continue to have wonderful memories of him. Uncle George, Uncle Frank and my dad (Ed), have their trio all together. Let the heavens sing. RIP Uncle George, you will be greatly missed.

My Uncle George was everything GOD intended a man to be. If you didnt like him somthing is wrong....with you ! Wise,Loving,Understanding,Funny,& Devoted are words that barely scratch the surface of this mans legacy.He will be missed by us,his family, hundreds of friends..nationwide,& literally thousands of buisness associates.REST IN PEACE Uncle George ...you will NEVER be replaced!

He was the best friend you could have.  Don and I shared a personal and business friendship with him for so many years; to say nothing of his and my love for the Cubs.  I am so glad to have been able to see him and and Tina on my last visit to Illinois.  He will be missed by all!

I "met" George while planning the 2010
St. Mary of Perpetual Help High School
50th Reunion.  Tina was my classmate.

   I started receiving info on locating
classmates from George...someone whom
I had never met.  Our friendship grew
via email as we located EVERY member of
the Class of '60.  What a very special
moment it was meeting him for the first
time just days before the Reunion.  We
made George an honorary member of
our Class.

George was the kind of man you don't
forget because of the way he lived his
life.  I know I won't forget him.

How much we will miss our very special neighbor George! His "Christmas house" lit up the dark wintry nights and was a true gift to the neighborhood. What wonderful role models he and Tina provided for us about faith, friendship, and true partnership in their marriage.

Tina,  We are so glad we had the opportunity to sit and chat with you and George on the deck a few weeks ago.  We will miss his Christmas lights and friendly hello's.  May God Bless and keep you both in the palm of his hand now and always.
