Just found out about her passing and we're stunned. She was a true confidante and a companion in creativity.  We followed her for hair cuts even after her move to Romeoville - even though we're out in North Aurora. We'd always talk about our dogs and our kids and our marriages (multiple for all of us). We saw her on the 8th and, as always, told her we loved her when we left. Little did we know it would be the last time. Much love from Jo and Patty.

I have known Gina since she joined the Neo Bella Salon team. She was an amazing person and hairstylist. She truly cared about people, she had an amazing heart. She would do anything for her friends and family.  She was incredible with Nora! It was so obvious that the two of them adored each other. 

Her beautiful smile and disposition put everyone at ease, she was so welcoming!  She had the biggest heart and such a sincere outgoing personality!  

Gina left us too soon, it’s truly a tragedy! She will be missed and treasured forever! Love you Gina! Rest peacefully!!  

We are all saddened to hear the news of sweet Gina. We don’t understand why but God only takes the Good ones!  Our hearts are saddened, Gina is and always will be Our 1st & only Grandson Timmathy T.Johnson God Mother!  We made a promise to take good care of him. So, our Dear Sweet Gina. You watch over Tim from Heaven & I will watch over him from here!

Once you got introduced to Gina, she became your friend forever. She considered my husband & myself as Nora’s “California grandparents”. She was such a wonderful friend to my daughter Lindsay & her husband, Adam.  She will be greatly missed. She called it the she saw it. She was so talented with her creative art. As a wife & mother, she was the best. RIP Gina, we all love you.

Gina was a bright light in our world. Always quick to laugh and make  your day better. I met Gina at a garbage dumpster in the condo complex where we lived  in Naperville. Who knew a random trash dump would result in an incredible friend to me and my husband? We quickly became friends and clients. We would trade crazy  condo lady stories. She will be missed and we are so very sorry for your loss.

I had to somehow explain to my 3 year old, who does not know life without Auntie Gina, why we would not be able to see her any longer. I told her that Auntie Gina’s heart was so big that it carried her way way way high up in the sky, above the clouds, so she could take all the love that she held in her heart and sprinkle it down on us. My daughter smiled and wanted to hear the story again. She wanted to hear again that someone she loved was sprinkling down love on her from above the clouds and that made me smile. It made me realize that my family and I were so lucky to have been loved so fiercely by a person that had the biggest heart. Gina was the most fun, the one to give the most love, the one to always be there when you needed someone to be there. She was the best of a friend and the best of a Mother. We all always felt the love she had for us, that is so rare in life, but with Gina she did that effortlessly. I always knew how lucky I was to have Gina as my friend,  now I’m so lucky to have someone watching over and sending down love to me and my family.  I will always miss my beautiful fierce friend but I will always carry her love with me. 

I met Gina at my grandpa's wake. While that day is much of a blur, I can clearly recall finally meeting Gina. In our short conversation, she was immediately family. She was kind, she emitted love, and compassion towards us. I could tell she had a genuine heart and soul. My prayers and thoughts are with all of you during this difficult time. Family is always there for family.

Gina was a lively, beautiful bright light. We always spent my entire hair appointment just laughing and chatting and solving problems of the world. My hair stylist became my friend over the years and I will miss her terribly. Rock on, you funny, caring, strong, gorgeous badass until we meet again.
