Eve accomplished many things in her life; she was a published author, a member of Job's Daughters, she was a humanitarian and philanthropist, a Daughter of the American Revolution, member of the Mayflower Society and founder of her chapter of The Red Hat Society. She enjoyed gardening and was also a wonderful cook- her family will fondly remember her delicious cooking.
Above all she was a loving wife, a devoted mother, and an unconditionally loving grandmother. She loved learning more about her family by researching her family genealogy, and cherished spending time with family and friends especially at her epic tea parties. Family was the most important thing to her, and she adored her grandchildren, who lovingly referred to her as “Gumball.”
Eve is survived by her beloved husband, Joe Lomoro, and her children Roseann Salerno (the late Alex), Ross Calderaro (Corinne Marsala), and Gina Novotny (Steve). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Bobby Salerno, Ross Salerno (Emily), Mickey Salerno, (Kelcie), Steven Novotny, Annie Novotny, and Mark Novotny, and her great-grandson, Alex Salerno.
Friends and family will gather for a celebration of Eve’s life that will be held on Sunday, November 19th, 2023 at 2 pm at the Community Baptist Church, 28W444 Main Street, Warrenville, Illinois 60555, with a celebration of food and memories to follow at 3pm.
