I was Jason’s Religious Education teacher at St. Joan of Arc school. I am just finding out today about your tremendous loss, I am so sorry. I brought him a Dan Marino t shirt from Dan’ s restaurant in Florida. He was so appreciative, the next week he brought me one of his Dan Marino trading cards, what a sweet gesture. He was always the most polite and respectful young boy and I’m sure that is something you heard very often about him. Again, my sincere condolences to the whole family.

To the entire Sinnick family...my deepest condolences to your entire family.  You do not know me, but I am responding to a very wonderful tribute by J.D. during the game. My son and I are going tomorrow, and certainly we will remember all of you and Jason during the game.  You can know this, Jason is with the Supreme Cubs fan--Jesus and together they will bring home a champion. But that's really insignificant now with everything that you have experienced. Jason was a distant family member.  My mother and his grandfather are cousins. Despite personally knowing Jason, I feel a deep sense of loss for the entire family. I'm unable to find words to express my sympathy in the loss of your son Jason.  No parent should have to bury their child.  Jason was an upstanding individual who was a contributing member of society with a bright future.  You did a great job raising him in his all-too-short life.  I know there's nothing I can do or say to help you because the only thing you want is your son back, and that's not going to happen. This is a road you must travel alone. It's incredibly difficult to know people I care about are in pain and there's nothing I can do to ease that pain.
