I am so sorry for the loss of your mother. I met Jeanne at Brighton Gardens as she was one of the gals at my mother Barbara Attocchi's table. Jeanne was witty, delightful and such a good friend to my mother. After having met Jeanne I always spoke of her to people I knew with fondness as I would tell them when I am in my 80's I want to be as well put together and as sassy as Jeanne. I met my match in shopping when I met Jeanne. I will miss chatting with Jeanne when Brighton Gardens opens up to visitors again. She was my absolute favorite person at my mother's table.

I remember one spring day, inviting Jeanne, my mom Lucille, Jerry, Jenny, and my sis, Kat to lunch at my house. All the ladies chatted and had a jovial time. My mom would write a note if she could type on these small cell phones! My mom often shared fond memories of Jeanne visiting her place, sitting on her deck, eating goodies, and swapping stories. She will miss her old friend (she already missed her after she moved away). We were always in awe of Jeanne's tenacity and positive spirit always! She sure loved all her family...her face always glowed when she spoke of them. A beautiful spirit has passed, but, her essence remains...

Jeanne our moms friend in Fredericksburg VA. My sister & I would see Jeanne from time to time in my moms neighborhood, while visiting our mom. Always a pleasure to see her. So sassy and full of life. Many times we would run into her at the shopping mall. Jeanne was always in her element when at the mall! She dressed to the nines whenever she was out and about, like our mom.
So sad and sorry to hear of Jeanne's passing. My mom (Lucille Mestre) missed her when she moved, but always stayed in touch.
Thinking of your family at this time and sending thoughts of comfort.
