Our heartfelt sympathy to the Gismondi family and to all who loved Joan. So sorry for your loss, from the Mandarino family, who lived up the street from you years ago.

My sincere condolences to Bruce, John, and Joan's family.  I know you will miss her deeply.  She was a dear friend, and I enjoyed many chats and visits with her over our 15-year friendship.  I will be missing her especially next week.

All of the messages about Joan are clear and the same; she was an outstanding woman with compassion and love for everyone who has had the privelage to know her. In some way, she was a mother, sister, best friend to us all. She had everyone's back here on earth and she will continue to now in heaven. Enjoy the sun and sand up there my friend, but save me a beach chair next to you, as always. Love you girl.

Joan you are such a wonderful person I am so happy we became great friends!!! I love the talks we had good and bad you were always there for me whenever I needed to talk and I'm glad I was there for you whenever you needed an ear. I miss you my friend so very much my heart is broken because I won't see you again and have talks we used to have. you're in a great place right now and you've had a lot of people who cared and loved you. I will never forget you I love you dearly miss you so much!!!

Joan was an amazing woman, and friend. We will miss her dearly. God bless her.

Joan is now at peace, may her loved ones find comfort knowing that she is safe in her daddy's arms. I love you Joan, you made me a stronger person through the years and for that I thank you. My heart hurts and I will miss you! I was able to kiss you goodbye before God took you to your peaceful place, and for that I will forever cherish.

My heart aches as I have lost my best friend of 35 years. As this has been a shock to all, Joan did not deserve to endure anymore pain in her life and is now resting with her father where I'm sure she is in his loving arms and at peace. I will miss her laughter, and her guidance that has pushed me to be a better person when I needed her the most. 

God bless her family and loved ones, and may they find peace knowing she is at rest...

I can't even begin to express my sorrow from the loss of Joan. She was a beautiful, kind, and thoughtful person, a caring friend. I will miss our times together and almost daily chatting. She was a blessing in the lives of many and has left us much too soon, too suddenly. 
My prayers continue for her. May she rest in the loving arms of God, and may He comfort her family and friends during these difficult times.
