Joan Mary Scholtens

Joan Mary Scholtens, 80, of Woodridge, passed away September 7, 2016, surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of 58 years to Charles “Chuck”; Proud mother of Susan (John) Bowe, Scott, Steven (David Aspinall), Sandra (Robert) Hamilton, and Shawn (Mary Kay); Cherished grandmother of Austin, Christine, Jack, Kelly, Ashley, Aaron, Alexis, Conner, Patrick, Mary, Anne, Charlie, Connor, Jake and Will; Dear sister of the late Lawrence, the late Herbert, the late Louis, Laurice, Don, the late Dorothy, Marge, Barbara, John, Ann, Jim and Carol; Loving aunt of many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 5015 Lincoln Avenue, Lisle, on Sunday, September 11th, from 2-6 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Scholastica Church, 7800 Janes Avenue, Woodridge, on Monday, September 12th, at 10 AM. Interment at Abe Lincoln National Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ, P.O. Box 1, Donaldson, IN 46513, in Joan’s honor.
