John Leonard Fascia, age 89, US Army National Guard Brigadier General Retired Veteran, passed away on April 4, 2026. Loving brother of Angie (the late Donald) Reilly; Cherished uncle of Michael (the late Vicki) Reilly, Donna (Arlie) Dye, and Donald (Cynthia) Reilly; Beloved great-uncle of Nicole, Michael (Becca), Anthony (Samantha), Lee (Shawna), Brett (Rachel), Donald (Kaitlin), Jimmy (Ashley), and Leslie; Great-great uncle of Michael, Declan, Connor, Elizabeth, Charlotte, Camden, Donald, Ryder, and Jayden. John was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Antoinette Fascia. Visitation for John will be from 3-8 PM on Thursday, April 16, at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 5015 Lincoln Ave, Lisle, IL 60532. Interment will take place at 11 AM on Friday, April 17, at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, 20953 W Hoff Rd, Elwood, IL 60421. If you wish to join at the cemetery, we ask you arrive at the cemetery no later than 10:45 AM on Friday, April 17. In lieu of flowers, donations in John’s name may be made to the American Legion.
