

Joseph P. Vrany, 59; loving father of Jessica (Thomas) Morar, Valerie and Veronica Vrany; beloved son of Joe and Trudy; cherished brother of Sharon (Philip) Doyle and the late Ronald Vrany; adored grandfather of Brian, Thomas and Jacob Morar and Lexi VanMill; fond uncle and friend to many. Joseph P. Vrany was known as many things to many people. He was a loved one, a friend, and someone special. To family and friends who knew him best, Joseph will be remembered as a very exceptional person.
He was the son of Joseph R. Vrany and Gertrude Vrany. Joseph grew up in Chicago and Lisle Illinois.
Joseph was raised with two siblings. He had one younger brother, Ronald and one older sister, Sharon. Joseph was usually involved in all sorts of activities with his siblings. They all experienced rivalries typical of a growing family, but they shared many life experiences over the years.
As a young boy, Joseph had a number of interests. Like most children, he enjoyed playing and making up games. He was curious about the world around him and was often eager to explore it. Joseph was an active child and in his spare time he liked to play baseball. However, to Joseph, the most fun to be had was simply playing and spending time with his friends.
Joseph worked hard to be a good father to his children and he did his best to fulfill their needs. Joseph was blessed with three daughters, Jessica, Valerie and Veronica.
Fortunately, Joseph enjoyed what he did for a living. Showing a strong work ethic, Joseph worked diligently and did his best to succeed in his career. His primary occupation was seal coating. Joseph always sought to be a team player, doing what was necessary in order to get the job done.
Joseph was also something of a sports fan and enjoyed following his favorite events whenever he had the chance to do so. Tops on his list were baseball and football (NFL).
Joseph enjoyed traveling and time away on vacations. It was a chance for him to renew and relax, to visit new places and experience new things. Favorite vacations included oceanic surroundings such as Gulf Shores, Alabama, Florida and California.
Joseph passed away on March 12, 2013 at Good Samaritan Hospital, in Downers Grove, Illinois. He is survived by his loving parents, Joe and Trudy: his children, Jessica, Valerie and Veronica: his sister, Sharon: his grandchildren, Brian, Tommy, Jacob and Lexi: and proceeded in death by his brother, Ronald. Visitation was held at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 5015 Lincoln Ave., Lisle, Illinois on Friday, March 15, 2013 from 3-9 p.m, with Funeral Service at 8:00 p.m., Interment Private.
Simply stated, Joseph was a good and kind person, an individual who will for all time be remembered by his family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Joseph leaves behind him a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life he touched will always remember Joseph P. Vrany.
