Judi A Terranova

Judi A. Terranova nee Russo, age 61, of Westmont, Illinois and formerly of Des Plaines and Chicago, Illinois passed away peacefully on June 6, 2015 in Downers Grove. Judi was born on November 19, 1953 in Chicago, Illinois.

She is the loving mother of Billy Terranova and Tom (Bev) Terranova.

Beloved daughter of the late Nancy and Bill Russo.

Proud Mimi of Gemma and Julia.

Dear sister of Donna, Vicki, Paula and the late Toni.

Loving partner of Joe Mealer.

Fond aunt of Vikki, Erik, Michael, Angela, Alexa, Taylor, and Aaliyah.

Great aunt of Amber, Austin, Starr, Gianna, Anthony, and Dominic.

Judi lived a life full of loving devotion to everyone around her, all of whom she considered family. She did not value material possessions rather she collected the love and time spent with those around her. She reminisced with childhood friends at John Hay grammar school dinners, took in friends in bad situations, and acquired adopted children who transplanted to Chicago without their families. Judi made sure each and every person she met was loved. Please celebrate her rich life and, in remembrance of her, make everyone around you feel loved everyday the way she would have.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice in Judi’s name would be appreciated, or simply care for those you love.
