I regret I will be in Philadelphia on Sunday and not able to attend the memorial for Greg. Much of his time at Benet and my own overlapped. I will be thinking of him on Sunday and recalling all the snow he plowed, the screws he tightened, the walls he painted, the electrical wire he strung.....
But most of all, I will recall his loyalty over his many years of service, and the fact that he was a genuinely good person. I send my condolences to you on your loss.

I knew the Simpson from growing up in Lisle. I knew Greg mostly from Childwood stables, him and his beautiful wife Anna. We use to call him dogmeat 😂 don’t ask me why. Crazy nickname!

There are way too many memories to draw upon. However, there are a few that I do remember. Greg got me listening to Metallica many years back. Some of the more softer versions. I remember the dedication and attention to detail when he use to sand and seal the old gyms floors. He took great pride in making sure things were done about as perfect as they could be done. Always had great conversations with Greg. He really cared about his friends. Unfortunately, I will be out of town that Sunday and will be unable to attend his memorial. I am sorry for the loss to his family. Family meant a great deal to him. My condolences to the Simpson family.
