Lawrence “Larry” James Bartell, age 72 was born June 24, 1949 to Bartholome and Adele Bartell and passed away February 2, 2022. Larry was the loving father to Nicole (Randall) Corbin, Kathryn (Derrick) Ledesma, Jessica (Ryan) Funk; cherished grandfather to Genevieve, Gabriella, Vivian, Antonio, Cece, Fiona; a special friend to many.
Larry enjoyed the fun times in life. He was always rocking out and loved listening to music. He enjoyed eating good food like Italian and chocolate, especially his mom’s fudge! He really enjoyed golfing and watching movies. Larry was also an animal lover. He was known for always playing with dogs but also had some wild “pets” in his life like a groundhog and a chicken dubbed Fred who apparently liked bread. Larry loved Hawaii and chose to spend his last year of life living it up under the sun. He is loved by many and already missed.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 18 from 11am – 3pm at Blake-Lamb Funeral home 5015 Lincoln Ave Lisle, IL 60532.
