My Grandpa will be missed more than words can even express. He was such a wonderful man in our lives. I have so many great memories of him. From playing taxi cab on his lawn mower, learning how to use a computer and playing Oregon Trail, his helping me with my French homework and numerous science papers using his Popular Mechanic articles, driving with me while I was learning to drive to dinners out just the 2 of us. I am so lucky to have had him in my life for so long and will miss him so much. I love you Grandpa ❤️

Len was always a sharing person and accepted new members under his wing, whether it was his knowledge of how to grow and maintain plants to his sharing plants he had. He was there to help at all the Mens Garden Club of Villa Park events and he was just great to sit and chat with. It was great to have him over to our garden and in turn to visit his garden and greenhouse. You will be missed and fondly remember.

My name is LaTasha, aka "Lakasa," I was one of Len's caregivers for the past 4 years. He was comedic and full of life. He always shared stories about the war and skating with his wife, Dot. He brought something new every day I came into work. Len was competitive with A game of ball toss and very good at trivia. Len was the energy in AL with his great sense of humor and singing. Songs that we all continue to sing throughout the halls of AL! I have many stories that I can share but the max isn't enough. The atmosphere is very different without him and he will be missed forever!

I knew Len through the DuPage Apple Users Group. I remember coming to his home and we talked computers for hours. He showed me family photos on his Mac. I remembered he later showed a presentation of family photos at a DAUG meeting one night.

The last meeting Len came to, Daughter Wendy showed photos from his Honors Flight to Washington, D.C. He had a good trip and I was happy to see him. I thank Wendy for keeping the club updated on Len.

WOW! Len lived to be 98 years, 2 months and 1 day.. Rest In Peace my DAUG frriend.
