Manuel Sepeda

Manuel Sepeda, 71, passed September 30, 2014. Beloved husband of Rose nee Calhoun; loving father of Jill (John) Meridith and Amy (Crispien) VanAelst; cherished and proud grandfather of Laney and Lily; dear brother of Catherine Gonzales, Angie (Tony) Tamayo, Frances Garcia, Nickie (Pete) Barbosa, MaryLou Carreno, and Alfonso (Anita) Sepeda. Proceeded in death by his parents and his sister Carmen Dennis; fond uncle to many. He cherished many special friendships and will be missed by many. Manuel was passionate about his love of music and preformed with several bands over the years. After his service in the Air Force he attended DeVry University, which led to a fulfilling career, ending with 30 plus years at Lucent Technologies. Visitation at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 5015 Lincoln Ave. (On Rt. 53, ½ mile south of Ogden Ave./Rt. 34) Lisle, 60532 on Thursday October 2, 2014 from 3-7pm where prayers will take place on Friday at 10:45am and lead to St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Lisle (On the corner of Kingston and Front St.) for Mass at 11:15am.
